U.S. Products Plans Educational Experience at Connections and ISSA Tradeshows
Mukilteo, WA -- U.S. Products, a leading manufacturer of portable hot-water carpet extractors, announces that it will be adding an educational “experience” to its booths at the upcoming Connections Tradeshow in Las Vegas as well as the ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America Tradeshow in Chicago.
“Along with live demonstrations of our products, we will be having ongoing discussions about the positive environmental impact of using heated carpet extractors,” says Doyle Bloss, Marketing and Chemical Brand Manager for U.S. Products.
Bloss, who will be in charge of the booth’s educational program, has more than 30 years’ experience in the professional carpet cleaning and restoration industries. He has developed several educational and training programs specifically designed for carpet cleaning technicians.
“Hotter cleaning solution contributes to a healthier indoor environment,” says Doyle. “This has been proven over and over again in a variety of studies. With health and the environment such critical issues in our industry today, we want to stress these issues at the trade shows.”
Bloss says two of the groundbreaking studies he will be discussing were conducted by Dr. Michael Berry and his associates on behalf of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
“In both studies, carpet cleaning using hot-water extractors was demonstrated to result in a reduction in airborne contaminants, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and total bacteria.”*
Bloss adds that both studies greatly advanced scientific understanding of the interaction between cleaning and the indoor environment.
U.S. Products will be located in booths 318 and 417 at the Connections Tradeshow, September 4-7, 2012, and booth 1720 at the ISSA Tradeshow, October 16-19, 2012.
*These studies are known as “The Denver Study,” conducted in 1991, and the “Frank Porter Graham Study,” conducted in 1994.
