Clean Team Rules on Cleaning Floors

Evidently they think it's important to keep loose dirt off the floor. We agree. This advice applies to every type of floor we're aware of. Floor finishes don't lose their shine just from people walking on them. Rather, it's the dirt that's caught between the floor coating or floor finish and people's shoes (or 4-legged friends paws) that causes most of the real damage. (This is equally true of carpeted floors.) The best thing you can do for floors is regularly to vacuum, sweep, Dustmop, wash or clean them to keep grit and dirt off the floors before they mar the surface.
