Cleaning For A Reason and its many residential cleaning partners have reached a big milestone. 11,000 women undergoing treatment for cancer have been served by cleaning partners like Better Life Maids of St. Louis.

Fighting cancer is a challenge that many women face. Trying to live a normal life and the daily chores associated with it while battling cancer is daunting. Cleaning For A Reason is a nonprofit serving the United States and parts of Canada that has partnered with local house cleaning providers to offer free cleanings to women undergoing cancer treatment. Better Life Maids of St. Louis has been a member of this organization since 2008 and on its own has provided free cleniang services to dozens of women in the St. Louis region. But the true power of Cleaning For A Reason is in its collective efforts. Recently Cleaning For A Reason and its house cleaning partners hit a big milestone. 11,000 women undergoing cancer treatment have received free house cleaning services from Cleaning For A Reason partners.
“Cleaning For A Reason is such an important part of our business.” Said Angela Ricketts, the co-founder and Vice President of Client Experience of Better Life Maids. “When I started Better Life Maids I wanted to give back, and this was a perfect fit. My cousin had just gone through chemo and her parents had paid to get her home cleaned. I saw how much that helped her out, and I wanted to be able to do the same thing wherever I could.”
As of now Better Life Maids donates 4 free cleanings to up to 5 women undergoing cancer treatment. Most cleaning partners serve at least 2 cancer patients at a time. Collectively across the United States their are over 1,000 cleaning partners and the program is accepting new cleaning partners each day. With each new cleaning partner the organization expands its ability to help more women battle cancer.
