Remove soap scum and water stains from wall tile, shower doors and stainless steel fixtures.- Place lemon juice on an applicator or clean dry cloth, and wipe down the affected areas with the lemon juice. Let this set-up for about 5 minutes. Then take a damp sponge or cloth and wipe off the lemon juice. The soap scum and stains should disappear.Spot Cleaning Spills on Carpets- Spray clear Windex immediately on the spill. Then dab the stained area several times with a dry cotton towel. After dabbing the area with the dry cotton towel, spray again with the clear Windex and wipe dry with a damp sponge. The stain should be completely gone.Removing stains and grease from the range top- Mix ¼ cup of Arm and Hammer Baking Soda and ¼ cup of Washing Soda dry. Take a damp cloth and dab it in the mixture. Wipe in circular motions on the affected surfaces, continually dabbing the cloth in the mixture as needed, using just a little "elbow grease". Let this mixture sit for about 5 minutes, then wipe off stains and grease with a damp sponge. For more difficult stains sprinkle some table salt into this mixture. This will give the mixture a little more abrasive action.Remove hardened wax from fabrics or carpet- Place a paper towel, folded in half, on top of the affected area. Press down on the wax with an iron set on low heat. The paper towel will absorb the melted wax, and your iron will remain clean.
