Tuesday’s educational lineup will be highlighted by Ryan Estis, an ISSA featured speaker, who will discuss ways to manage breakthrough performance in the new economy. He will discuss several ways that cleaning professionals can be more connected and collaborative in their management of people.
“In this interactive featured session, you will glean new ideas, information and practical insights that you can leverage immediately,” says Richter.
Speaking of speakers, ISSA/INTERCLEAN 2016 will also be highlighted by three keynote speakers during the four-day event. First up will be former Navy SEAL Rob O’Neill, who will share his thoughts about leadership during the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 26. The highly-decorated combat veteran, who is billed as “one of the legends of the U.S. military,” will give his insights on building a successful mission, a task that requires the right personnel, preparation, the ability to make decisions under pressure, and a commitment to not quit.
The speaking lineup then turns to entertainment with a morning presentation on Thursday, Oct. 27, from stand-up comedian and radio talk show host Dennis Miller, who is sure to delight with his sharp humor and views on the current state of affairs here in the United States and across the globe. Miller has spent the last three decades sharing his critical thoughts throughout the media landscape on programs such as “Saturday Night Live,” “Monday Night Football” and his own talk show “Dennis Miller Live.”
“Each year we try to ensure our attendees have a memorable experience, so we choose keynote speakers who entertain, inspire and educate,” says Richter.
The last, but not least, keynote on the schedule is Apple Co-founder Steve Wozniak. The business and technology icon will join ISSA Executive Director John Barrett on stage on Friday, Oct. 28, for an informal Q&A “chat” and answer questions from industry professionals about his vision for how technology is changing the sector, and how it can help the industry grow and thrive. Wozniak will also share insight on some of his inspiring experiences regarding entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity as he helped launch and grow one of the world’s most successful and recognizable brands. He will also share how future technology will apply to the cleaning industry.
