Buchko, professor of management, Foster College of Business Administration, Bradley University, Peoria, Ill., to its board of directors.“Dr. Buchko has been our strategic planning process facilitator for the past 14 years and has proven to be an invaluable asset to Triple S”, said Alan Sadler, Triple S president.Dr. Buchko currently teaches both undergraduate and graduate classes in Planning and Strategy, Executive Development and Business Ethics. He is also actively involved in scholarship and research. His current research focuses on the roles and activities of senior managers, the practice of general management, and the process of executive development.Featured in several professional publications, including the Academy of Management Journal, Advances in Strategic Management, The Journal of Business Research, and The Journal of Management Studies, Dr. Buchko is the successful author of over 20 articles and a published textbook.Along with serving on the Triple S board, Dr. Buchko also serves on the Boards of several community and for-profit organizations, in the Peoria, Ill. community. He is also a confidential advisor and consultant to several organizations, conducts professional seminars several times a year, and is a frequent speaker to several corporate, trade and civic associations.Prior to entering the academic field, Dr. Buchko had a successful career in production, sales, and marketing, and served as the chief marketing officer for a publishing company.He received a bachelor of business administration from Ferris State University, a master’s degree in business administration from Bradley University, and a Ph.D. in management from Michigan State University.“It is a tremendous honor and privilege for me to have been asked to serve the Members of Triple S as a director on the company board,” said Dr. Buchko. “During my years of experience with the company I have come to admire the passion and professionalism that the leadership, staff, and Member companies bring to the business.
